2007 Pan Am Games

The sports to be included in the 2007 Pan Am Games include: men's indoor football, bowling, water skiing, skating (artistic and speed), and karate.

My first question: Why not women's indoor football as well?

And bowling would be fun -- if it was of all the types and styles. There are many types of bowling games played around the world. Wouldn't it be fun to have a decathalon of sorts with each of the games? There is 10-pin, duck-pin, candlestick, and some other games that I don't even know the names of.

We went to a bowling and sports facility in the Prague and saw a weird to us bowling game. There were three balls per frame. The funky shirt / uniforms were the same, but with a few more logos. I tried to trade for a bowling shirt was without any valued goods myself at that instance.

Now the quiz questions:

What city is to host the 2007 Pan Am Games?

When and where did I get to go to the Pan Am Games?

In 2007, we'll have to pack our bags for the Pan Am Games to be held in RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil.

I went to the Pan Am Games held In Indy, IN.

Indianapolis is strong at the amateur sports level. It has held the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament several times, most recently in 2000 at the RCA Dome, which holds more than 65,000. Indianapolis hosted the 1987 Pan Am Games and boasts the Hoosier State Games, one of the largest intrastate sports festivals in the United States. Several other national championships have been held here in sports such as gymnastics and track and field. The city played host to qualifications for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in nine different events. Indianapolis has been dubbed the "Amateur Sports Capital" of the world.

Bonus points for anyone who finds Alan Leventhal, formerly of NJ, now. Last I knew, he was working in LA on religious programming jobs.
