To all Friends of The First Tee of Pittsburgh,

The Constellation Senior Players Championship is returning to Fox Chapel Golf Club again this year (June 24th-29th) and The First Tee of Pittsburgh is responsible for Marshal staffing on Hole #10.  Board members Jeff Schlegel and Bruce Stephen will serve as hole captains and they are asking for your support in volunteering to work the event as well as assist in our recruiting efforts.

The First Tee of Pittsburgh has received SUBSTANTIAL financial support from the proceeds of the event in each of the past two years, and we anticipate a similar contribution again this year.  Given the support the event has shown us, we want to make every effort to ensure we provide adequate staffing in return.    Volunteering your time in support of an event that has made such a generous contribution is a way you can really help support your First Tee chapter.  You have a chance to get "inside the ropes" and the very best seat in the house to watch Tom Watson, Ben Crenshaw, Fred Couples and the PGA Champions Tour stars.

We are asking that you volunteer to work two shifts (approximately 4-6 hours) during the event.  In addition, please reach out to your family members, friends, co-workers and golf partners and ask for any assistance they can provide. This is VERY fun way to help us support our golf and life skill programs

There is a $65 volunteer registration fee which includes the following (over $250 value):

· Volunteer Uniform (Two Oxford Golf logo'd polo shirts)
· Volunteer credential (provides entry to the tournament and the Fox Den Hospitality Venue every day Tuesday - Sunday, even when not volunteering)
· One weekly guest ticket allowing access to the grounds and Fox Den Hospitality Venue
· Logo'd baseball cap or visor
· Lunch voucher on days when you volunteer (one voucher per shift)
· Invitation to Volunteer Appreciation Party
· Chance to play Fox Chapel Golf Course after the tournament if over 20 hours are volunteered

Additional tournament information and registration details can be found on the volunteer website:  volunteers.cspgolf.com

We ask that our volunteers go the website and register by May 1st in order to provide an assessment of staffing needs and facilitate scheduling.  If you have any questions or need assistance with registration, please contact Jeff Schlegel schlegel@fnb-corp.com or Bruce Stephen, bmichaelstephen@gmail.com.

Thank you for your assistance.
