A SPECIAL ONE DAY EVENT
COACHING THE NOVICE SWIM GROUP
WHEN: SATURDAY, November 17, 2018 LOCATION: 5101 NW 21st Ave, Suite 530, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309
This one day seminar will be restricted to just the first 20 coaches registered, in order to provide ample one on one opportunity for each coach to ask and get answered all of their questions.
8:30AM-9:30AM
Planning the first two years of your athletes swimming life. Key Ingredients.
9:45AM-11:00AM
Key Teaching Skills & Drills For New Athletes 7-12 years. (Video based Learning)
11:15AM-NOON
Important Life Lessons - Ages 7-12 years.
12 NOON - 1:30PM
LUNCH - On your own
1:30PM - 2:30PM
Parental Education that any coach can deliver. (Yes, you have to educate the new parents as well!)
2:45PM - 3:45PM
Teaching Starts & Turns for ages 7-12 years.
4:00PM - 5:00PM
"TRAINING" - What to do in the water to move your athletes forward each month in your program.
John Leonard
ASCA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
John has served as ASCA's Executive Director since January of 1985. Areas under his direct supervision include Certification, Publications, the World Clinic Program, Advocacy, and ASCA's interactions with the larger world of swimming. He serves on the USA Swimming International Relations Committee, and the OIOC, as Executive Director and Board Member of the World Swimming Coaches Association, and travels widely within the USA and internationally serving these various related activities.
*We will be offering on Friday, November 16, 2018: Level 1 School or a Level 2 School for $100, If you sign up for the Saturday Main Clinic this course will be available for only $50.
**We will be offering on Sunday, November 18, 2018: Level 3 School for $100, If you sign up for the Saturday Main Clinic this course will be available for only $50.
