On February 24th at the Libertarian Party of California convention, I will take the stage with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. I'll challenge RFK, Jr. on libertarian grounds and in particular on several contemporary issues of grave importance, including his stance on Israel and his proposed program to back 3% mortgages with government bonds, among other issues.
He says his proposed mortgage program would be like having a rich uncle cosign on mortgage loans. I will ask him what rich uncle that might be. Would that be Uncle Sam, who is 34 trillion dollars in debt?
I will also call him out for his self-contradictory positions on Israel and Ukraine:
Statements of support are fine, but we must follow through with unwavering, resolute, and practical action[!] America must stand by our ally [Israel] throughout this operation and beyond[!] as it exercises its sovereign right to self-defense. [Does the indiscriminate bombing of civilians and leveling their houses, hospitals and infrastructure, while depriving them of food, water, and electricity constitute "self-defense?"] Few people understand what the war in Ukraine means for big business. It's not just the weapons and reconstruction contracts. Ukraine's vast agricultural lands—among the most fertile in the world—are up for grabs, and American companies like BlackRock are at front of the line. I will explain to Kennedy that nations do not have rights; only individuals have rights. And the U.S. has no business funding and arming any other nation, whether it be Israel, Ukraine, or Taiwan. Such interventions are NAP violations and increase the tax coercion of the U.S. government on American taxpayers. I will explain the principles of libertarianism, on which he has no apparent grasp: the non-aggression principle, the libertarian stance on war, and the libertarian position on the welfare state. I will show that on these grounds alone, Kennedy is utterly unfit to represent the Libertarian Party in any capacity, let alone as its presidential nominee.
But I need your help to do this and much, much more. Please help me get to California and other states by contributing what you can to my campaign: |
