South Side Parking, coverage in the P-G

The root problem is that those that live here rejected the permit parking petitions, and we defeated the process. Meetings unfolded. Huge objections came to light. We who said "No thanks," won. It was dead. 

Then a few weeks later, the permit parking paperwork arrived in our mailboxes from city planning offices. The citizens got hoodwinked. There is no way we wanted it, and we still got it. The process sucked. Our city council person did not help one bit. 

Parking has always been a big issue, but there was no consensus and it was tweekeked and killed fully. They lied. We were suckers. Coming back from the dead is not just an Easter thing.. .....
