9th Annual ISCA Hall of Fame Coaches Summit
Notable Speaker
Stacy Pendarvis
Research shows that 1 in 4 children will experience some form of abuse in their lifetime. How many athletes are on your team--and what can you do to help insure their safety?
Stacy Pendarvis is the Program Director for the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. Stacy is a social worker and educator with two Master's degrees from East Carolina University. She has over twenty years of experience in child welfare and abuse prevention: developing child safety curricula and resources, managing community and agency projects related to child protection, and helping organizations and communities establish prevention initiatives. She has educated thousands of adults and children on various child protection issues and has also held Social Work and Psychology adjunct faculty positions at universities in North Carolina and Florida.

Stacy's role at the Monique Burr Foundation for Children is to oversee all program and prevention related activities, including research, curriculum and resource development, and community and professional training.

Stacy will join our panel on athlete safety to present practical information for coaches. She will share her expertise in abuse prevention, address policies and procedures that can be implemented to lower risk, show ways to create a safe team culture, and more.
The 9th Annual Hall of Fame Coaches Summit will be held August 28-31st, 2018 in Clearwater Beach, FL.
