Announcing the 2026 National Moonshot Grants

The future of learning won't happen all at once. It's emerging right now through bold ideas, thoughtful experimentation, and communities willing to explore what learning could become.

 

Today, we're excited to announce the recipients of the 2026 National Moonshot Grants. These 15 projects will test future-facing ideas that push the boundaries of teaching and learning while generating insights that can strengthen the field as a whole.

 

From learner-centered AI and competency-based education to community partnerships and learning ecosystem design, this year's grantees are exploring new possibilities for helping young people flourish in a rapidly changing world.
