Poll to the top left -- at 21 votes

Mark Rauterkus & Running Mates ponder current events Should Mark Rauterkus stand for public office, again, in 2008?
The question is clear -- but the voting results are not yet resolved.

With 21 votes, 12 (or about half) say that I should 'give it a break' and not run for public office in 2008. However, the other half (or so) say I should. Humm....

Your opinion is welcomed. Place your vote now!

Take a year off

If you run for office, run for one office, fundraise, hire established campaign professionals, and really run hard. Otherwise, leave it be. The fact that you don't mention what office you would run FOR is an indication to me.

John K. says: Run for some office. Pittsburgh needs its Harold Stassen.

Bram, the fact of what office I'd run for is found within the poll. Did you vote?

The 2008 options are: PA House, US Congress, Delegate to the R convention.

I'm not too interested in PA Auditor General -- this year. What about you for that post?

What about the other posts?

The 'run hard' part -- well -- it is more about 'spending hard' I think. Running hard, in terms of effort, isn't the problem with me. However, spending money is the sticking point -- as I don't like to drive up debt.

The run hard part is more about run as a Dem than anything else, I dare say.
