Men's 200 meter freestyle FINALS

This is going to be great. Watch Michael Phelps on his turns. He'll stay in the steamline longer and have a more explosive push-off. If he takes the gold, he'll need to cook off those walls.

Ian has better distance per stroke.

What a race. Can't wait.

Loved the 800 free relays -- for both the men and women.

Gary Hall Jr's win was so exciting. He'll be going on tour with some other swim stars. Won't be like stars on ice, nor the gymnastics showcase -- but -- it could be great.

The swim carnival sport might come to life as a result of these games -- and the tours to follow.

The men from the US won the medley relay in world-record time. Phelps got his eighth medal without getting into the pool for the finals. The decisions played out with grand success.
