Luke on KDKA-Radio with Marty G

Luke says, "I'm here for the long haul."
Luke, you are really here for as long as the people of Pittsburgh decide if you should be retained or not. The voters may elect you to continue the job. You're here until December, 2007. You are here to serve the will of the people. The voters get to decide what happens next. Not Luke.

Nice interview otherwise, except for Janis' call and questions. Come on! Marty shut down part of the question with silence and then just said, "wow." She clearly had an agenda, said the show host.

Many of the top citizen speakers called: Ora Lee, Ms. E.F. Brown, and a zinger at the end about some guy from Public Works who had issue with some dead wood going out of parkland.

Stay tuned until Friday to get the news about those who are still being paid and are on leave: Dennis Regan and a Police Commander, K.McN.

Ora Lee & Yvonne are not top speakers. They are over the top neighborhood leaders who try to get what they want for their area by screaming! And they wonder why they don't get anything....

Not top -- but you wrote yourself, -- Over the top!

What came first, not getting anything. Or, screaming.

I'd say that there are some that don't get jack -- and then screaming follows. Otherwise, the screaming came and then they were shut down????

My "top" statement was what it is. If you make a list of those that speak out in public -- their names are on it near the top.

Sure, some do scream, sadly. But, there are plenty of others that don't. Screaming isn't the only thing those women do. And, different strokes from different folks.

Why don't you search Ora Lee Carroll on Postgazette.com & see what you get.

I know about Ora Lee's saga.

Funny how any real criticism of Luke is "having an agenda." Like Marty or Luke or no one else has one...

Yes. Funny indeed. Marty has an agenda, for sure.

I've found that it isn't so good to hit heads with the radio talk show hosts on his or her show on issues that have favorite "sides."

Oh well.

I generally like to go where there is some 'dischord.' That's the 'edge' and where the excitement can be. But, it gets a smack down way too often.

I think we should always 'think again' and then spare no criticisms.
