Girls on the Run is a fabulous program. It's much more than just training for a 5K, which is pretty wonderful for this age group. The focus is also on social issues of this age (e.g., bullying, being a good friend). I've coached for Girls on the Run and can say, first hand, the program changes girls for the better. It's wonderful.
