RCAC.net team nets Monica for political director

See the comments for a mention from Bob G, the GOP Chair. Lots of strong females are in the upper ranks of the county's GOP team.

I am very pleased to be able to tell you that the 2005 team at Republican headquarters is now complete. Monica Douglas, Chair of the Young Republicans of Allegheny County and a member of Council in Elizabeth
Borough, has agreed to serve as the RCAC's Political Director beginning in January. Monica, a graduate of Clarion University and Duquesne University, is a veteran of countless Republican campaigns and most recently managed Congressman Tim Murphy's successful campaign for re-election in a heavily Democratic district. Her energy, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of grass-roots politics and of our county's GOP activists are certain to be tremendous assets for the Republican Committee of Allegheny County.

One familiar face will remain at the RCAC office, that of Meghan Fisher, who has managed to keep everyone there organized for the last year even while she carries a full course load at Pitt. We are glad that she will continue to help in the spring and confident that her efficiency and unfailing good nature will continue to keep things running smoothly in 2005.
