The City League champion Lady Bulldogs lost to Mercyhurst Prep, 44-43. With 10 seconds left and the score tied, 43-43, Mercyhurst Prep rebounded a Westinghouse miss. As Mercyhurst Prep's Kirsten Olowinski darted up the floor, Westinghouse's Tatayonna Cox reached in and poked the ball out of bounds at half-court. One official, the one right next to the play, ruled the ball out of bounds. But the official on the far side of the court called a foul on Olowinski, and Cook went to the line and knocked down the second of two free throws for the win.
