Peduto to introduce fix for housing court

Peduto to introduce fix for housing court 'Right now, the system isn't working,' Peduto said. 'Absentee landlords are able to escape [citations] without any penalty.'

Almost everything is broken. Why did the changes occur in the first place.

Gene R, an expected District Magistrate for the future, and president of council, should have something to say about this topic. And, it should have been aired months ago. What's up with his voice, issues and leadership on this issue?

Richard King, a local D.J., slammed the Peduto bill before Council's meeting today.

It's a bill that deserves slammed. This is the United States and defendant's - even landlord defendants - have rights. This is just more nonsense from an irrelevant member of an irrelevant body.

Agree.

I was hoping to see something from Peduto on Campaign Finance Reform -- but he fumbled.

I was hoping Peduto, a hockey player, would do something about the closed ice rink -- he fumbled.

I was hoping Peduto would do something about downtown bus routes -- he fumbled.

There is still a place for city council -- but they have fumbled the budget year in and year out.
