There are two jobs in the same agency.
idealist.org - Government Affairs Associate: "Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children, a statewide children’s advocacy organization located in Harrisburg, PA, has an opening for a full-time Government Affairs Associate."
The second job looks good for A.S.
idealist.org - Communications Specialist: "Communications Specialist"
I did find a good job for "our hero" too. But that is with another agency. Seems a Philly nonprofit needs a global development czar. See Global Economic Development.
BTW, I'm not sure who reads this blog. Okay to forward to your friends and foes. Click that envelope email button and a message gets sent to them. And, I don't get to read the messages.

Description:
Join us for this special session at the Urban League of Greater Cleveland
This course is geared towards representatives of community groups without nonprofit status or new nonprofits with very little experience in grantseeking in general. We focus specifically on foundation fundraising.
The course will address such questions as:
-What groundwork do I have to have in place before approaching foundations for funding?
-What are the steps to obtaining incorporation and nonprofit status and where can I get some help to do so?
-What are the characteristics of successful nonprofits?
This free session will provide you with a step-by-step checklist approach to help you determine your own readiness for foundation fundraising. Advance registration is required.
This class will also feature a special presentation by representatives of SCORE Cleveland. SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is America's premier source of free & confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs. SCORE is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization formed in 1964 to help small businesses flourish. SCORE provides a public service to America by offering free small business advice and training.
This program is offered free of charge. Space is limited. Please arrive on time or your seat may be given away to others who are waiting to attend.
