Recognizing Greater Pittsburgh's Leadership in Greening the Built Environment
More and more, Pittsburgh is being viewed through GREEN rather than smoky shades. In celebration of the city's growing green status, the Green Building Alliance (GBA) invites you to submit a nomination to recognize regional leaders who have significantly contributed to this environmental transformation.
Nominations Due MARCH 10th
The First Annual Shades of Green Leadership Awards will be given during a special luncheon at a special luncheon during the Building Solutions Summit 2005 on Thursday April 7th (11:45 AM - 1:30 PM) at the Westin Convention Center Hotel. These awards are designed to highlight the efforts of distinctive people or teams within the built environment who:
* Demonstrate a visionary impact on the greening of Greater Pittsburgh
* Possess proven leadership skills that exhibit creativity and innovative results
* Diligently partner with others in the region to facilitate positive change
* Consistently influence others to improve the environment
A total of four awards will be given in the areas of:
* Business (individual award)
* Non-Profit and Education (individual award)
* Public Works (individual award)
* Green Initiative (team award)
