Sadly, the city's image in the article does not match mine in the slightest. The pools and rec centers are a mess. The kids are shooting each other. The flight is mounting. The ruts in our political landscape are hard to ignore.

I agree. I doubt the author ever set foot in PIT.
It is a very strange article. Basicly, it is just uncritically regurgitating of the big city mayor's report. They see the only problem as a lack on money. Nothing bad ever happens from spending irresponsibly.
